Using the fundamentals of torchworking, students will learn how to make bends in tubing, sculpt hollow forms, vacuum and fi ll the forms with different gases for different effects and colors, and turn their glassworks into lighting,
décor, art, and statement pieces to their intention. Students will be assessed by the proficiency they evidence in their artwork, thoughtful research that informs their work, and commitment to excellent craftsmanship, composition, form and content. $160 course fee
