GEO 309 - Sedimentation & Stratigraphy 4 Credit(s) This field-based course covers the physical and biological characteristics of modern and ancient environments of deposition. Techniques of stratigraphic and sediment logic analysis are used to better under-stand the processes that control the deposition of sediments in eolian, lacustrine, fluvial, glacial, deltaic, tidal, shelf, carbonate platform, and deep ocean environments. $125 Course Fee.
