GEO 101 - Introduction to Physical Geology 4 Credit(s) Fundamental concepts of physical geology. Topics include the differentiation of the Earth, origin of the oceans and atmosphere, igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary processes, earthquakes, plate tectonics, mountain building, surficial processes, glaciation and climate modellng, geologic time, evolution of life, and Earth history. Includes hands-on experience with rocks, minerals, fossils, and maps. $100 Course Fee.
