MUSI 301 - Music History I 4 Credit(s) In this course, students will investigate western civilization musical traditions from late antiquity to the present day. Musical styles, genres, composers, key works, and social conventions will be examined and discussed to enhance understanding of the evolution of music and its relationship to other art forms and to the Western culture.
