ACTG 201 - Principles of Financial Accounting 4 Credit(s) This course provides the learner with an understanding of fundamental accounting principles and procedures while developing problem solving and critical thinking skills. Topics covered include the basic rules of the double-entry bookkeeping system, analyzing and recording business transactions, generally accepted accounting principles, the AR/Inventory/Payroll/AP transaction cycles, creating and analyzing financial statements, and other relevant transaction recording methods.
Prerequisite(s): 100-level math; or c/i. (fall/spring)
