PHSX 391 - Applied Environmental Geophysics 4 Credit(s) In this course, students will learn the basics of geophysical exploration with an emphasis on environmental problems. Students will learn how and why geophysicists leverage certain geophysical properties to ‘peel back’ the Earth’s skin to make geologically meaningful interpretations. This learning will culminate in a project where students collect their own data, make interpretations and predictions. Includes multiple field trips. Evaluation by quiz, lab, and report. 75.00
