PSYX 222 - Psychological Statistics 4 Credit(s) This course is designed to help students understand how scientific studies are designed, how scientific data are collected, and how basic statistical analyses commonly used in the field of psychology are conducted and interpreted. Students will learn how to calculate and interpret basic descriptive and inferential statistics (including correlation coefficients, t-tests, and ANOVAs) using statistical packages that are common in the field, as well as how to report these results in APA format.
Prerequisite(s): Sophomore Standing; Meet one of the Math proficiency standards or C- or better in M090; or c/i (spring)
