4 Credit(s) Students explore concerns shared in all of the arts—e.g., the artist and sources of inspiration; artistic freedom; arts as a mirror of society and an influencing force; who’s to judge; cutting edge technology; commercialism. Topics are presented in seminar fashion. Significant works of art are analyzed within their cultural and societal context. Students exhibit knowledge and competencies through a variety of writings, presentations, and discussions. $20 Course Fee.
