The basics of theatre including performance, design, production, and storytelling. Students actively explore the relationships between these elements in a classroom and lab setting. They analyze the purposes of theatre and learn about a variety of western theatre traditions. They study the responsibilities of the actor, script writer, director, and design staff in theatre and film productions. $40 course fee.
