LIT 228 - Topics in European Literature

​​Students will study European literature such as the literature of Renaissance Italy which may include reading authors such as Dante Alighieri, Francesco Petrarch, and Giovanni Boccaccio. Special consideration may be given to the study of localized European history, politics, and philosophy. Experiential learning activities may include group discussions, creative and/or analytical writing, and research practice. Students will show an understanding of the materials through a variety of activities including, but not limited to, critical and creative writing assignments, class discussion, and quizzes.
