ENST 375 - Environmental Interpretation 4 Credit(s) Finding creative and compelling ways to connect scientific knowledge with diverse audiences is imperative to address the grand environmental challenges that our community, our country, and our world face. In this course, you will define, describe, and expand “interpretation” as a communication process that fosters environmental stewardship. We will learn to assess the effectiveness of environmental interpretative programs and you will develop your own practice. You will learn to prepare and deliver interpretive programs that are compelling, informative, and well-organized to prepare you for environmental interpretative job positions. Together, we will also work on improving your interpretative writing skills. course fee $800.00
Prerequisite(s): Any GEO 100 – 194 or ENSC 100-194 or BIOB 170 or BIOB 160 or c/I fall (odd)
