HSTA 412 - American Thought & Culture 4 Credit(s) An historical investigation of the roles played by art, literature, religion, and philosophy in shaping ideas about American society and identity from the Puritans to Elvis Presley and beyond. Students will participate in class discussions and prepare a research project based on original library and/or archival research. Seminar.
