ECNS 332 - Economics of Natural Resources 4 Credit(s) Analysis of methods of resource valuation, trade-offs involved in their preservation or development, and application of these methods to land-use planning. Analysis of policy implications of environmental legislation. Students will be able to demonstrate their understanding of the principles in the development of land-use plans and environmental impact statements. The method of delivery will include lecture, group interaction and discussion, computerized simulations, and use of the Internet as a means of gaining access to information sources. Students will be assessed by means of essay examinations, research papers, and computerized simulations. $10 Course Fee.
