Secondary Education Certificate–The Secondary Education Certificate is designed for post-baccalaureate students who are pursuing initial licensure in Montana (Class 2 License) in one or more of the following endorsement areas:

• Art K-12
• Biology 5-12
• Business Education 5-12
• Computer Science K-12
• Drama K-12/Theater 5-12
• Earth Science 5-12
• English 5-12
• History 5-12
• Library K-12
• Mathematics 5-12
• Music K-12
• Physical Education and Health K-12
• Reading K-12
• Science (Broadfield) 5-12
• Social Studies 5-12

In addition to the courses included in this certificate, content courses may be required as part of the student’s plan of study to meet all content-area requirements for initial licensure.
