Early Childhood Certificate

The Early Childhood Certificate gives students a foundation for working with young children in early care, preschool, and education settings. It is designed to stand alone or to complement the Early Childhood Education, AAS and the Teaching and Learning in Early Childhood, BS . It is also used for the Montana Early Childhood Project (ECP) registry. Courses taken for the Early Childhood Certificate count toward the Early Head Start required training hours for the CDA National Certificate and are availabe on-campus and online.

Completion of a background report is required the first semester a student enrolls in early childhood courses.
