WRIT 313 - Writing for Publication 4 Credit(s) This course provides an examination of the process of writing for publication and the practice of publishing commercial nonfiction. This is a class in freelance writing and editing—covering topics such as writing query letters, performing market analysis, workshopping article drafts, conducting interviews, etc. As part of their study of commercial writing, students will write for a range of publications, including traditional magazines and webzines.
Prerequisite(s): WRIT 101 ; or c/i. (fall/odd-numbered years)
