KIN 160 - Structural Kinesiology 4 Credit(s) A study of human motion from both an anatomical and mechanical perspective, this course provides students with an understanding of movement as applied to physical activity. Working from the cellular to system level, students will understand the function of the neurological and musculoskeletal systems with an emphasis on applying knowledge to teaching and analyzing form and technique used in physical activity. Students will be introduced to the structure and function of other systems including cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine, and digestive as related to physical activity.
