EDSP 464 - Methods of Instruction for Students With High Incidence Disabilities 4 Credit(s) The purpose of this course is to prepare teachers to accommodate academic and/or social intervention for students with a variety of mild to moderate educational needs. The course will cover educational best practices which have documented efficacy and a parsimonious approach to intervention design. Because textbooks can provide neither comprehensive nor the most current information available for the wide-ranging problems seen in classrooms, students will hone their ability to use the literature as a tool for selecting authentic data-based methods. Students will be evaluated based upon professional learning community contributions and content-based applied modules.
