The Mathematical Biology option is for the bachelor’s degree BS: Mathematics. It will keep all of the required classes in the current mathematics major and add the course requirements below.

M 125 - Morphometrics 4 Credit(s)
BIOB 160 - Principles of Living Systems 4 Credit(s)
BIOB 170 - Principles of Biological Diversity 4 Credit(s)

Select 12 credits from the following:

Any 200-400 level BIOB, BIOE, BIOH, BIOM, or BIOO course

Total Credits: 24

Note:

In order to receive credit toward a Mathematical Biology Option, students must earn a B- or higher in STAT 121 and all courses that will count for the Mathematical Biology Option.
